The Pickle Juice Story
A Passion for Pickleball
Pickle Juice Co-owner and Founder, Lisa Brody, is an avid Pickleball player. Almost every day for the past five years, she’d tell her family she was off to “play pickle and grab a juice.” Her favorite daily ritual sparked the big idea for Pickle Juice–a beautifully designed indoor pickleball club and juice bar where members could socialize, exercise, and energize.
While there are plenty of courts outdoors, Lisa and her husband Jeff saw a need for a state-of-the-art indoor facility that combines spectacular design with a truly special sport. From the innovative Pro-Cushion® courts to the vibrant greenery and light, airy décor, Pickle Juice is a unique space that encompasses the energy and joy of pickleball.
Lisa is passionate about all the benefits of this great game–especially the warm, welcoming community. Since she started playing pickleball, Lisa has transformed her tennis team, family, and friends into pickleball players who can’t get enough of the sport. Playing with strangers of all ages, laughing and challenging each other, Lisa found a hobby that lead to tournament championships and inspired a business.
Whether you’re a beginner or a long-time pickleball pro, we can’t wait to see you on the Pickle Juice courts!
Family + friends = a game-changing idea
One of the best things about pickleball is how it brings people together—and that’s how Pickle Juice got started. Lisa and Jeff live next door to Brad, who noticed that Lisa was always playing pickleball. As a tennis player, Brad was intrigued. He told his best friend Dave (and former tennis doubles partner at Lehigh University) that they should grab some paddles and see what this game was all about. It’s no surprise: these sports fans were instantly hooked and joined the Brodys to create Pickle Juice.
Pickle Juice combines the love of the game with the love of family. Lisa, Jeff, Dave, his wife Jenny, Brad, and his wife Lauren all enjoy sharing this sport with their kids and creating new friendships on the court.
